6-day Canadian Black Bear Hunt (Alberta)

Few things are as exhilarating as stalking a mature black bear in its own rugged, mountainous habitat.  Bears become active in spring when green grasses cover the hillsides.  But you aren't the only one hunting! Though black bears freely roam the mountains feeding on lush, green grasses and plants, they will gladly hunt newly born fawns when presented the opportunity.

Our hunting season runs from mid-May to early June. Since it is a short season, spots fill up fast! We recommend booking well in advance.

Each Black Bear Hunt client will be provided with two (2) black bear tags.

888Adventures meets clients in Edmonton and drives them north to our comfortable, rustic camp. After getting settled in camp, hunting ethics and tactics as well as firearm safety are carefully reviewed.

We mainly employ "spot-and-stalk" and use optics to find mature bears. We also have several bait sites where ground blinds or tree stands are constructed.

We are well equipped to respond to any situation that may arise.
